Every Von Baer bag here is made to the same standard, from the leather to the lining.

• Full-grain leather from A-grade hides: we select A-grade hides only from Bos Taurus cattle and cut the leather from the bend, the back and butt of the hide, where the fibers are densest. The full grain is preserved intact, so the leather keeps its refined look through years of daily use, where corrected or bonded leather cracks and peels.
• Drum-dyed leather: We drum-dye the leather, so the color runs all the way through it: if it's ever scuffed, the leather underneath is the same shade, not the pale mark surface-dyed leather shows.
• Cotton canvas lining that protects what's inside: each bag has a separate, fitted lining that is soft and breathable.
• Complimentary personalization, hand-pressed before it ships: every bag includes a matching leather luggage tag, and we blind-emboss up to four initials by hand at no extra charge. Check the personalization box on the product page and add the initials there.
