Von Baer women's luxury wallets carry full-grain Italian leather across the range. Our certified models - the W5, Harrington and Isabella - hold Cuoio Superiore certification, an independent Italian standard requiring laboratory testing and on-site audits at least every three years by an independent testing institute. Our leather tans over 48 to 72 hours using natural plant tannins (quebracho, mimosa and chestnut), compared to the 8-hour cycle other tanneries typically run. Wallets in this range weigh from 23 grams (0.81 oz) for the slimmest card holder up to 400 grams (14.1 oz) for the Isabella shoulder bag.

• Full-Grain Italian Leather: Every wallet in this range uses full-grain Italian leather, the highest grade of leather available. Our leather develops a richer patina the more you handle the wallet, while bonded and 'genuine leather' alternatives flatten and crack at the seam fold within months. We chose full-grain because a wallet you carry in your hand all day shows its quality faster than anything else in the range.
• Hardware Built For Years Of Daily Use: Our zip closures stay sealed under handbag friction. We added secure zip designs on the W5 and Harrington because plated alternatives chip and tarnish within the first season. The Isabella ships with solid brass hardware crafted in Italian workshops, and we specified brass on the larger piece because it holds its finish across the years the leather takes to develop patina.
• RFID Shielding Standard, Not An Upgrade: Every wallet in this range carries an RFID-blocking lining. We include the shielding as standard across the wallet line, so the wallet keeps its slim profile alongside the digital security.
• Discreet Brand Markers: Our wallets carry no logo plate, no metal nameplate, no printed wordmark on the leather, just the discreet VB icon debossed into the inside of the leather and the engraved Von Baer mark on the closure hardware. We press the deboss without ink, and we engrave the mark on the brass itself rather than printing or plating. Our deboss is a quiet brand marker rather than public branding, and your initials on the leather are the visible mark.
• 5-Year Repair Warranty: We back every wallet in this range with a 5-year limited warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. Our remedy is repair-first, with no charge to you. We send repairs back to the family-owned studio that handcrafted the wallet - same workshop, same techniques, same stitch pattern as when it was made.
• Duties And Taxes Absorbed Worldwide: Von Baer absorbs every duty, tax and shipping cost into the displayed price for the country we deliver to. We absorb duties because international orders elsewhere arrive with surcharge demands waiting at the door, and we built our pricing around what you pay at delivery rather than what's on the page at checkout. Our wallets serve four daily formats. We sized the Minimalist for the inside of a clutch, the W1 and W2 purses for everything you actually carry, the Harrington for international travel and the Isabella for evenings out when you want the wallet to double as a small bag.

• Minimalist Croc Print Leather Card Holder - We designed the Minimalist for the inside pocket of a small clutch at 23 grams (0.81 oz), with 4 card slots and a central pocket for folded bills. Our croc-print full-grain leather and RFID shielding run throughout, with complimentary blind embossing of up to 4 initials on the back panel.
• W1 Leather Purse - Our bi-fold W1 holds 16+ card slots, a zip coin pocket, two cash compartments and an inner phone compartment, sized for the days you carry everything in one place because you actually use every slot. We chose a snap-button closure to keep the surface flat in your handbag rather than splaying open at the seam. Cut and stitched by hand in our family-owned Florence studio, in full-grain calfskin pebble leather with RFID shielding throughout.
• W5 Leather Zip Card Case - The W5 swaps the W1's snap closure for a secure zip, because snap-buttons release against tote linings under daily handbag friction and the zip stays sealed through the journey. Sized to 1 cm (0.39 in) thick, with 8 card slots and a central zipped compartment for folded bills and coins. Our W5 carries Cuoio Superiore certified Italian leather and RFID shielding throughout.
• Harrington Leather Passport Wallet - For days you fly internationally, the Harrington fits a passport, 4 cards and a boarding pass behind a secure zip, sized at 15 x 9.5 x 2 cm (5.91 x 3.74 x 0.79 in) and 70 grams (2.47 oz). Our Harrington carries Cuoio Superiore certified Italian leather and full RFID shielding, so contactless skimmers can't read your cards through the leather while you wait at the gate.
• Isabella Shoulder Bag - When you want the wallet to double as a small bag for evenings out, the Isabella ships with a removable shoulder strap (up to 65 cm / 25.6 in drop), a magnetic snap closure and a single internal zipped pocket. Our Isabella carries solid brass hardware from Italian workshops alongside Cuoio Superiore Italian leather and natural cotton lining, handcrafted in Florence at 21 x 13 x 6 cm (8.27 x 5.12 x 2.36 in) and 0.4 kg (0.88 lbs).
