Import Duties and Taxes

If you live outside the EU, your country's customs might charge you an import fee.

We suggest you try a quick web search if you are unsure of the applicable charges in your country. If you would like a rough idea of how much your import fees might be, we recommend getting an estimate here. You can also contact your customs office directly for more information.

 

Shipping to the United States

If you live in the US and your order is for less than the amount of $800, you will not be charged import fees. If your order is over $800, you are most welcome to get in touch with us so that we can advise you further.

 

Shipping to Australia

There are no import fees applicable for orders under 1,000 AUD (630 EUR as of February 2019).

If your order is over 1,000 AUD, do get in touch and we will do our best to advise you further.

We do everything in our power to reduce the chance of customs charges through legal means. Over 99% of our customers outside of the European Union, including customers based in the USA and Australia, have reported that no customs charges were applied to their orders on delivery.

 

Returns

After receiving the Product the customer has the right to familiarize with it during 14 days time. If for some reason you are not satisfied with the purchased Product, you have the right to return it in 14 days time by sending a corresponding message to the e-mail address info@vonbaerbags.com.

The Product must be sent back in their original package and condition. You have to ensure that the Product being returned is unused and in perfect condition. Please note that unused means that there are no marks or damage on the item. Web store will not accept Products with any indication that it was used. In such cases, the Products will be returned to the customer.

When returning the Product the Web store will return the sum paid for the order (but client pays the fees for the shipping and delivery). The due sum is to be transferred to the customer's bank account/paypal not later than 14 days after receiving the client's return claim.

If you discover a defect of any kind in a Product delivered by us, please contact us as soon as possible to raise a formal complaint. This will entitle you to a replacement Product or, in cases where this is not possible, a refund. If the product delivered is wrong or damaged we will arrange the free return. Sellers of consumer goods within the EU are obliged to guarantee the conformity of the goods with a contract, for a period of two years after the delivery of the goods.

Web store reserves the right to cancel the contract when it is not possible to deliver the Products the customer ordered or one or more products the customer ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error. If we cancel the contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account the sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but no later than within 30 days since you placed the order.

We have refined our refund policy with a view to minimize disingenuous transactions. This helps us maintain our best prices and standards of service for dedicated buyers that appreciate the lengths we have taken to ensure the quality of our products.

 

Personalised items

Due to the permanence of embossed and engraved details, we are unable to accept returns on customized items.

Request your return by writing us an e-mail. Once you have requested your return, a return authorization will be sent to you within 72 hours.

 

Lifetime Warranty

We offer a lifetime warranty with all items. If there is any fault or malfunction with your item please get in touch and we will do all we can to correct the issue.

This lifetime warranty does not cover:

- damage caused in an accident, inappropriate use or negligence.

- expected levels of wear and ageing of all natural materials.

- use of any product outside of its intended purpose.
